Question 1

What is Flume Voice (Flume AI)?

Accepted Answer

Flume Voice (Flume AI by IDIAZ) is a voice-first writing, AI voice dictation, and meeting notes app for macOS, Windows, iPhone (iOS), and Android. You hold a hotkey and speak naturally at 150 words per minute; Flume strips filler words, honors mid-sentence self-corrections, preserves code and technical terms, and types clean, formatted text directly at your cursor in any app.

Question 2

Does Flume record and summarize meetings without a bot joining the call?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flume captures system audio and your microphone directly on your Mac or Windows PC — no meeting bot ever joins your Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Slack Huddle call. You get real-time transcription, inline spoken or typed notes, and structured AI meeting summaries.

Question 3

Which platforms and apps does Flume support?

Accepted Answer

Flume runs natively on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows 10 and Windows 11, iPhone (iOS), and Android. It works inside every application — including Cursor, VS Code, Claude, ChatGPT, Slack, Linear, Notion, Gmail, Google Docs, and any browser or IDE — with one synced account for your custom dictionary, voice snippets, and meeting notes.

Question 4

Is Flume free to try?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every new Flume account starts with a 14-day free trial of Flume Pro (no credit card required), and the Flume Free plan remains free forever with 60 minutes of dictation every month.
